Senior Editor – Class of ’27

Tomas Bernales-Jabur is the Executive Editor for the school newspaper, where he leads the School News section, advises the other sections, and oversees the publication’s website. He uses journalism as a medium to explore and communicate his passion for environmental and social sciences, politics, and advocacy, with a particular focus on connecting global issues to the values of the Rudolf Steiner School community. In addition to interviewing high-profile individuals, Tomas leads a major journalistic project examining the role of artificial intelligence in media, aiming both to bring outside perspectives into the Steiner community and to thoughtfully present the community’s work and values to the broader world. Tomas is also a regular contributor to the climate section, as well as literature and culture, using his writing as a medium to highlight different perspectives, ideas and voices.
